Tarik is a 25-year-old young man who lives with his mum and his older brother, graduated from Cinema and Television programme. He shoots some experimental short films. Tarik win an award in one of the town festivals with an experimental film he shot. Strongly influenced by the films of Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Tarkovsky, Tarik uses some of their style scenes in his experimental short films. After his graduation, he never works, but spends most of his time at home watching films and reading books. Every year he applies for funding to the ministry, but he never gets approval. His lack of work annoys Tarik’s mother and his brother. The financial situation of the family is not very good. The mother has a low pension, and she makes some handmade bath loofas and sells them in the local open market to have some exrtrea income. His brother Tahir works as a courier in a private company. Tahir is annoyed with his brother’s waking up towards the evening and not getting any job. One day, Tarik’s friend Onder who takes wedding photographs calls him. Onder offers him to shoot a romantic clip of the bride and groom. Tarik rejects the offer first thinking it is not his type of thing but accepts the offer later because of the psychological pressure in his house. Tarik, who takes videos of the groom and the bride in the forest, believes he is doing a good job, but the couple finds the clip very dark and depressing. Tarik explains himself as he aimed to add artistic value to his work. When he gets back home, he watches the clip alone and enjoys his work.
